Laura sent me some photos from our dinner at the Stephen Center. Notice how many strawberries there were.

Laura let the kids use her iPad. We were at the restaurant for 3 hours and the kids never got restless! She also played war with Luke (I brought cars) while Chris entertained Nathan with lots of mischievous ideas that he thought might be fun for Nathan to try.

ReplyDeleteThis is at "The Stephen Center", which is a restaurant and hotel (I think) and missionary headquarters in Tirana. They host missionary trainings and are developing churches throughout the region. Genci used to work as a cook at the restaurant before he went to America. When he got his green card, he chose Worcester because that's where Chris & Laura were from, and Genci stayed with their daughter, her husband and children for the first 6 months (I think) in the states. The restaurant has American food and international food. I had Chicken Curry, but considered getting a Chimichanga. Nathan had a chicken fillet with mashed potatoes and gravy. Luke had a hamburger and fries. I didn't see what Genci got. He was at the other side of the table. The ice cream sunday I am shown eating was actually Nathan's. I was just eating the leftovers. Nathan liked the whipped cream so much, that Chris had them bring out more. Chris also showed him how to eat the whipped cream out of the canister. Lots of good ideas that Chris had! He made quite an impression on Nathan!
